Biography
Luzma Moreno started her teaching experience in a rural indigenous primary school in Chihuahua, Mexico. Later on, she taught History at the secondary level and now she is a lecturer at the undergraduate and graduate level. She coordinates the bachelor program in pedagogy at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. She holds a Masters’ degree in International Education Policy at Harvard University and a Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on pedagogical approaches to cultural diversity from a critical perspective. She has worked for many years in professional development programs with more than 2000 teachers and principals through the International Certification for Transformative Education Leaders in Mexico.
